Miraschi

Miraschi is from Belgium. She has a Master`s degree in political science and studied drawing and oil painting at the Academy Heusden-Zolder, Belgium.

Inspiration
I see, I feel, I draw
I think, I make, I create
You touch my heart
I want to touch your soul
Always boundaries to cross
Sometimes explicit, sometimes subtle
But never indifferent
And sometimes I just want to be an astronaut and find Peter Pan,
second star on the right straight on 'til morning.

Materials
Most of the works can be described as mixed media. Paper, canvas ink, blood, organic materials, oils, . are used to give expression to my subjects. I do not limit myself and love the freedom that comes with it all.

From the Heartland
'From the heartland' are works that have not only love as a subject, but also the connection between our mortality and our spirit. It is a series about the heart that wounds and the heart that heals, and the materials are used in that way: gauze, my A+, ink, animal hearts.
